Church & Churchyard Fabric Fund (CCFF)

The CCFF was established in 1983 by Terence Sanders, who contributed a lump sum to be invested in the fund.   The Fund contributes to the cost of maintaining the graveyard.  Since his death, others have also generously contributed to the Fund.   CCFF is an Charity (registered number 288536), independent from the church.

CCFF is managed as a Trust, and the principal terms of its operation are that income from the investment funds can be donated to St Mary's Buckland.  However the capital value of the investment funds should be left to accrue, which it has done successfully to now reach around £80,000.   The income generated is around £3,000 which is donated to the church annually.

In addition, since 2024, donations and small fund raising events can be 'ring-fenced'  to support special projects concerning the churchyard, as approved by the Trustees and the Churchwardens.   These funds can be spent in their entirety and are not subject to the rules of the capital fund.

The Trustees of the CCFF are Dominic Sanders (Chair), Duncan Ferns (Treasurer & Secretary), Nigel Husband, David Sayce & Philip Haynes.
