Staff and Leadership
Please find below an introduction to our Reverend, Churchwardens and PCC members, who together form our Leadership Team.
We are small church: our Rector is paid only 1.5 days per week for Buckland Parish activities and understandably she is not always immediately available. All other members of our team devote their time and resources on a voluntary basis.

Pru joined the joint benefice of St Mary's Buckland & St Michael's Betchworth in September 2023. She works 3.5 days per week for our parishes. |
|
David is a Churchwarden, Captain of the Bells and PCC member.
He manages the maintenance of the church building and regularly contributes intercessions in our services.

Caroline Gale (Safeguarding Officer) |

Liz is a Churchwarden and PCC member, focusing on our Service Schedule and content, and is a Server supporting the Rector in Communion. |
|
Caroline is our Safeguarding Officer and PCC member, and is first point of contact for any Safeguarding issue to maintain our Safe Church Policy. |

Tom is a PCC member and represents our church within the Diocese of Southwark and attends and reports on Church Synod Meetings |

SImon is Treasurer of the Church and of our fund-raising group, the Friends of St Mary's. He is a PCC member and a sidesman in many of our services. |

Rosey Davy (PCC Secretary, IONA intercessions) |
|
Hannah is a PCC member, who co-ordinates the Iona Services and accompanying Music Group, where she plays the flute and recorder. She previously ran the Sunday School. |

Rosey Davy is Secretary of our PCC, and regularly prepares intercessions for Iona Services. |

Sarah is a PCC member and a practising Solicitor, bringing legal experience as required. |
