Friends of St Mary's
The Friends of St Mary's Buckland was established in 2013. It's purpose is to raise funds through subscriptions and community events, to support the maintenance, repair and operations of the church building.
FOSM has proved funding to enable repairs and maintenance of St Mary's Buckland, such as the guttering and roof, doors and windows, insurance costs, safety inspections and the maintenance and restoration of the organ. All these essential activities are becoming increasingly expensive and our income comes solely from subscriptions, donations and our fund-raising community events.

FOSM needs to raise ‘a few thousand pounds’ annual contribution each year 'to balance the books' of the church. We know this is feasible and it can be very satisfying to help organise community events, as well as attending!
The FOSM Committee comprises Roger Daniell (Chair), Ianthe Cox (Secretary), Simon Thomas (Treasurer) & Rosey Davy.
